WORKING WITH POWERCENTER-Administration Console Overview

PowerCenter 8 Administration Console is the administration tool which we can use to administer the PowerCenter domain. If we have a user login to the domain, we can access the Administration Console. Using  the Administration Console we can perform administrative tasks such as managing user accounts, and domain objects. These  domain objects includes services, nodes, grids logs,, folders, and licenses.

1. We have to open any internet explorer for example Microsoft Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox. And Type the following in the address field.
2. http://<host>:<port>/adminconsole.   
3. For example https://amar-fa638557e2:8443/adminconsole/
4. Enter the domain user name and password.
5. Click Login.
